We are Hilary and Hannah, a mother and daughter team based in Somerset. Our story began one Christmas, as we were piling up the waste single use cards and wrapping paper. We discovered that many cards and wrapping paper can’t even be recycled - which means landfill or inceration, and the terrible impact that has on our environment. We also discovered that over a billion (single use) cards are bought in the UK, and more than 225,000 miles of (single use) wrapping paper is thrown away each year.

And so we started looking into eco friendly alternatives. Enter the unique RAPPU reusable greetings card, fabric envelope and fabric gift bag. A simple removable insert means that the greetings card can be reused by each recipient. Zero waste and a great way for the recipient to save time and money when they pass the card along. To accompany the cards, we also offer reusable envelopes hand made from organic cotton and reusable gift bags made from organic cotton or recycled sari fabric.
